About Us Welliver Construction, owned and operated by Bill Welliver, is a small construction company dedicated to service, quality and reliability. Bill has been building and remodeling homes from Garberville to Arcata and extensively in Eureka. His purpose is in helping you achieve your homeowner renovation dreams. He will work with you, your designer or architect. Call him early in your project to ensure a smoother, cost-efficient project. Personal Building History Bill Welliver comes from four generations of a construction company family dating back to 1898. Having participated as a teenager in rebuilding his hometown after the flood of '72, you'll find in him a builder with passion. While other families were having weekend outings, his family would volunteer to rebuild homes destroyed by fires. Although he loved being part of the family business, Welliver-McGuire, Welliver-McGuire, he decided to leave the icy, fast-paced environment of N.Y. He moved to Eureka in 2004, took his contractor's license test and started Welliver Construction. He's been enjoying the beauty and people of the North Coast since then. His experiences building homes and additions in New York State, and as a superintendent of commercial construction (gallery coming soon) have brought extensive building wisdom that his clients appreciate.
